Late Night In Chicago
Since learning about toon shader styles, I've been keen to create a scene of my own as a personal project and challenge myself to use them and see what could be possible.
Why I went for a 1950's-era, Chicago "Noir" theme... I don't really know, except that I love the entire aesthetic and feel of it all. The idea was strong, and it sort of just happened and blossomed into this scene. Safe to say that it turned out far better than I could've hoped or imagined. It's one of my favourite pieces.
